Welcome to The DOAS Network

Protecting our natural environment and connecting people with nature to benefit birds & wildlife.

About Us

Established in 1968, the Delware-Otsego Audubon Society (DOAS) is a chapter of the National Audubon Society.  Our region encompasses the northern Catskill Mountains and the upper Susquehanna River areas of New York State.  The DOAS Sanctuary, located just south of Oneonta, NY is home of the Franklin Mountain Hawkwatch.

DOAS envisions a healthy world where people and wildlife thrive and natural resources are protected.

DOAS is a 501(c)3 Organization; All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Why You Should Join Us

Engagement with our members, friends and communities is the key to success in environmental protections.  Every time we have someone participate in a program, share information and images, volunteer to help - makes us a more effective organization.

Join our network (here) to learn, share, communicate and engage! Become a DOAS member to support our work (doas.us/join-us).

A Big Thanks

Thank you to the DOAS Board and to our members and friends (past and present) who we hope will be joining us here in this digital space!
